My honest Bodybuilding Health+ review

Built for lifters who want a cut

Bodybuilding Health+ got me on compounded tirzepatide in under a week with no membership fee and a fitness-first tone I actually liked. Here is my honest take after 90 days, including where the pricing gets less friendly.

What I liked

  • No monthly membership fee - the price you see covers the provider review, the medication, and shipping
  • Intake is genuinely 1-2 minutes and there is no video call to schedule
  • Bundle pricing brings compounded semaglutide down to $139/mo on the 12-month plan
  • $100 off the first month keeps the trial cost low
  • Fitness-first framing - dosing guidance actually points you toward protein and lifting
  • They name their partner compounding pharmacy on the label, which many competitors do not

What could be better

  • These are compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, which are not FDA-approved and require a prescription
  • The low per-month rate only applies if you pre-pay for a 6 or 12 month bundle upfront; month-to-month refills cost noticeably more
  • Support is portal messaging only - there is no live provider appointment
  • The app has no built-in dose, weight, or food tracking yet
  • Some Trustpilot users report late shipments and login or access glitches

My experience with Bodybuilding Health+

The intake really is a couple of minutes

I went in braced for the usual telehealth runaround and ended up spending more time reading the compounded-medication disclaimers than answering the actual health questions. The quiz covers height, weight, goal, medical history, and the standard GLP-1 contraindication questions, then you submit. There is no calendar to book and no video call to dread. A licensed provider reviewed my answers through the portal and approved me the next day. If you have ever set up an online account you can do this.

The prescriber experience is all text

This is the part to be clear-eyed about. You do not get a face-to-face visit. Everything runs as messages inside the patient portal. When I asked about titrating my tirzepatide dose, a provider answered within a day and the advice was sensible. But if you want a real back-and-forth about labs or how a GLP-1 interacts with a hard training block, this is not that. They do not run bloodwork as part of the program, so I tracked mine through my regular doctor. For a fitness-minded user that is probably fine. For someone with a complicated health history I would want more hand-holding.

Shipping and the cold pack

My first vial showed up about five days after approval, packed in an insulated box with cold packs that were still cold when it landed. Everything was labeled clearly, with the compounding pharmacy named right on it, which I appreciated. I will be honest that the experience is not bulletproof for everyone. A few Trustpilot reviewers reported late shipments and getting scripted replies from support, so your mileage may vary. Mine arrived on time both months I ordered.

The intro price is not the real price

Here is the cost reality nobody puts in the headline. Compounded semaglutide starts at $179 the first month and tirzepatide at $209, and a $100-off promo makes month one cheap. The genuinely low per-month numbers, semaglutide down to $139 and tirzepatide from $179, only kick in if you pre-pay for a 6 or 12 month bundle in a single charge. Stay month-to-month and the refills cost a fair bit more. So budget for either a big upfront commitment or a higher recurring bill. There is at least no separate membership fee stacked on top, which is more than I can say for some competitors.

Side effects and how I handled them

I got the standard early nausea and enough appetite suppression that hitting my protein target felt like a chore for the first two weeks. I messaged the portal, a provider suggested holding my dose rather than escalating on the usual schedule, and that settled it down. Results are individual and I am not going to promise you a number, but for my own cut the appetite control did what I hoped without tanking my training. The thing I had to manage myself was muscle: I kept protein high and kept lifting, because the program nudges you that way but does not do it for you.

How signing up with Bodybuilding Health+ works

  1. 1

    Take the 1-2 minute intake

Answer an online questionnaire covering your stats, goal, and medical history. No appointment to book and no video call.

  2. 2

    Provider reviews your answers

A licensed provider checks eligibility through the portal. I was approved the next day; compounded GLP-1s require this prescription step.

  3. 3

    Pick your plan and pay

Choose month-to-month or a 6 or 12 month bundle. Longer bundles drop the per-month price but are billed upfront. No membership fee.

  4. 4

    Medication ships to your door

Mine arrived in about five days in an insulated cold-pack box with the compounding pharmacy named on the label.

What other Bodybuilding Health+ customers say

4.4· 23
The sign up process was easy and fairly quick. My meds came packaged... fort Knox level cold storage, I felt very confident they stayed very cold in transit. The questions I've had so far were answered promptly. I only have 4 out of 5 stars because I do think the app could offer more features like med tracking... Overall I feel like I received a high quality product from a company geared towards health and fitness.

As a woman in menopause, getting that extra weight off has been difficult. I already used Bodybuilding.com for my supplements and for workout guidance, so I was excited to see that they now offer GLP-1s. The quiz to qualify was simple, the shipping was quick, and I have been very happy with the results that I have gotten so far.

Getting a glp with a very affordable price and easy to communicate with someone if needed, so far so good just waiting to see how the results look after a bit only on my 2nd dose.

Terrible medication was late customer service keeps telling me the same scripted lines. No one is actually helping me but they were sure to take my money right away. It's not ok to send the medication late I'm not impressed.

I can't log in to access the medications. I'd like to add sermorelin but I can't figure out how to. The BB.com doesn't show me the medications.

Bodybuilding Health+ review FAQs

Is Bodybuilding Health+ legit?+

It is the telehealth arm of the long-running Bodybuilding.com brand, with a named medical advisor and licensed providers who review your intake. It carries a 4.4 on Trustpilot across a small number of reviews as of mid-2026. The medications are compounded, so read the next answer.

Are the GLP-1 medications FDA-approved?+

No. The semaglutide and tirzepatide here are compounded, which means they are not FDA-approved and legally require a prescription. A provider has to approve you through the intake before anything ships.

How much does it actually cost?+

Compounded semaglutide starts at $179 the first month and tirzepatide at $209, with $100 off month one. The lower rates, semaglutide from $159 down to $139/mo and tirzepatide from $179/mo, require pre-paying for a longer bundle. There is no monthly membership fee.

Do I have to do a video call?+

No. The intake is a 1-2 minute online questionnaire and all follow-up happens through the patient portal as messages. There is no scheduled telehealth appointment.

What else do they sell besides GLP-1s?+

Longevity and performance add-ons: NAD+ and sermorelin (injection or oral dissolvable tablet) from $129/mo, daily tadalafil from $115/mo, and a tadalafil plus sildenafil combo from $96/mo.

How fast does it ship?+

Mine arrived about five days after approval in an insulated cold-pack box. Some reviewers reported slower shipments, so it is not guaranteed.

Is it good for keeping muscle on a cut?+

The brand is built around body composition and the guidance points you toward protein and resistance training, but you still have to do that work. It does not include coaching or lab monitoring.
